In May of 2014 a committee of vestry members was established to define and coordinate the process that we would follow in conducting our search for a new rector.  The process has a goal of having a data package ready to submit to the diocese in January 2015.  This will allow us to officially begin our search for a new rector in February 2015.  Separate committees were formed in June to prepare for and conduct the Parish History Day and Parish Survey activities.  A Parish Profile Committee was formed in July to lay the groundwork needed to prepare our Parish Profile.

A Rector Search Committee was selected by the vestry in early September and commissioned for their duties at both services on September 14.  They are responsible for coordinating and conducting all parish activities pertaining to the search for our next rector.  The Search Committee conducted ten meetings with small groups of parishioners to better understand where the congregation feels our parish should be heading in the future, and what type of rector we need to help us attain these goals.  After these small group meetings the search Committee combined this information with results from the survey and other sources to prepare inputs to the Parish Profile defining who we are and what we are looking for in our next rector.

Results from History Day, the Parish Survey, small group meetings and other activities conducted to support the profile and search committees will be posted on this site as they become available.  This allows parishioners and other interested parties to keep abreast of our progress as we continue this journey of discovery and discernment.
